My Story

I live in Tasmania. I began making Calendula cream in about 1990, when I came across a recipe in a magazine in Sweden when visiting my mother.

I initially started making it because I suffered from dry lips from wind or sun whilst out horse riding. The cream was amazing and I never had to suffer dry lips again. I used it on my growing family for all cuts scrapes burns, babies bottoms , tinea etc.

My eldest daughter, now grown up, jokes with me that whenever they hurt themselves Calendula cream was the answer to everything. It was and still is!

Tasmanian Calendula Cream is now made entirely from Tasmanian ingredients.

I seem to have an affinity with calendula flowers. They have always been in my garden. I love the vibrant and rich shades of orange colours. I sit on the lawn in the sun and pluck the petals off into a basket. A beautiful sight to behold, a basket full of bright radiant orange flower petals.

After a few years of selling the Calendula cream to friends and sometimes at the local market I started making other moisturisers. I have been using them daily and selling to family and friends, and by word of mouth ever since, goodness that is now 30 years!!
